Wedding Invitation by Invitations and More by Bonnie featured in Stationery Trends Magazine
A beautiful letterpress invitation created by Invitations and More by Bonnie and produced by Dauphine Press is featured in Winter 2013 issue of Stationery Trends magazine on page 24. The invitaton was created by having a hand calligrapher write the invitation and then making a letterpress plate from the original giving each invitation the look of having been hand written.

Hurricane Sandy and Thanksgiving
We were out of commission for a few days here at Invitations and More by Bonnie. After three days without power we were lucky enough to move into temporary office space and maintain a satellite operation. In spite of the inconvenience we repeatedly counted our blessings for not having sustained physical damage or bodily harm. After a total of eleven days without power we were able to move home and reboot. Our hearts go out to those less fortunate. In this season of Thanksgiving we are grateful for all of our blessings- large and small. We wish all of our custoemrs and readers a season of tranquility and gratitude!

The Best Invitation Ever!
I had the opportunity to create the most unique invitation ever for a holiday party. The theme was a “Small Town Holiday Party” and the customer was looking for something really special. The invitation was made of real birchwood and suede. The box was covered in a beautiful red and black tartan material. Sprigs of aromatic fir added a great “homey” feel. The box was mailed in a clear wrapper with a red label and a custom stamp. I am certain that everyone who received this invitation was thrilled to attend this magical event.

National Stationery Show
Once again it is almost time for the National Stationery Show – an event I look forward to with great anticipation every year. It is great to catch up with existing vendors and to meet some new ones. I am always on the lookout for exciting new designs in the area of Wedding , Bar and Bat Mitzvah, and general party invitations. Seeing what is new in personal stationery, hostess and babygifts is another reason to attend the show. This year the show will be held at the Javits Center in NYC from May 20th to the 23rd. I will be sure to take photos so I can show you the veylatest designs as soon as they are available. A visit to Luscious Verde
Last week I found myself near Cleveland to attend a friend’s daughter’s wedding. While there I managed to squeeze in a visit to Luscious Verde – one of my favorite vendors. I had a great visit with Wendy and Chris-Anna, Luscious Verde’s two founders and owners. I got a sneak preview of a new Bar Bat Mitzvah album that is in the works and had a chance to see first hand what goes into making some of LV’s fabulous, custom invitations.
